After Malaria, explores lessons from successful malaria cessation in unexpected places.

The identity draws on Cyprus’s history of mosquito control at early life stages, expressed through a trailing comma that resembles larvae and pupae while setting a conversational tone.

A monospaced typeface references equality through uniform character spacing. A cyan accent adds lightness to the established palette. The minimal website design leaves room for animated commas, drifting like early-stage mosquitoes, reinforcing the project’s core narrative.

Kartzin [καρσ̌ί / karşı] is a Cypriot concept of positioning, encounter, and dialogue.

The Kartzin SEA Lab is a non-commercial space for socially engaged arts, welcoming emerging artists & cultural practitioners to experiment, present, and provoke dialogue beyond institutional boundaries.
